At the right is one of the two new murals at the Currier Museum of Art, designed by the late Sol LeWitt.

The folks at the Currier, proud of these murals and their prominent place in their spiffy new addition, tout their LeWitts as a stunningly original tribute to the ceramic art in the historic entryway of the original museum, now just an elaborate architectural folly that faces the murals in the museum's new winter garden. Below is page 18 (with my fingers holding it down) of a book called
Along the Way: MTA Arts for Transit, cataloguing the remarkable collection of artworks commissioned for New York City's transit network in recent years. Shown is a mock-up of the ceramic display that LeWitt apparently designed for the 59th Street/Columbus Circle subway station. So much for originality!
