Judith Levine is the most courageous writer I know -- she's the woman who wrote the terrific book
Harmful to Minors a few years ago, defending the right of kids to their sexuality.
Here is her take on the health care crisis, from the excellent newsweekly Seven Days. After laying out her bona fides as a chronic disrespecter of presidents, she makes a compelling case for moving forward with whatever reform bill emerges from Congress for the president's signature. It's a must-read for progressives of goodwill.

I especially like 'The perfect should not be the enemy of the good.'
