ABOUT

I learned to type in high school on a manual typewriter -- and I have been fiendishly pounding on keyboards ever since.  I've been a journalist, a lawyer, a husband, a cooperator, a father, a consumer advocate, a fiduciary, a baseball fan, a troublemaker, a reader, an architecture critic, and, since my daughter was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis in 2002, a student of microbiology, genetics, pulmonary medicine, healthcare policy, and medical history.

I don't expect anyone to follow this blog. I created it as the latest place for a convenient repository of my rants and raves.
